All results are developed collaboratively by the partnership and tested directly in real teaching and learning environments.

Understanding teachers’ needs
The project starts with an in-depth needs analysis and desk research involving VET teachers and institutions from all partner countries.
This activity provides the evidence base for all subsequent project activities, through the identification of gaps in knowledge, skills and teaching approaches related to EU studies, and the mapping of existing good practices and methodologies.

Teacher Training Programmes
Empowering VET teachers on EU topics
BELONGtoEU designs and delivers training programmes for VET teachers, combining academic expertise with practical teaching methodologies. Training activities include workshops, peer learning, co-teaching experiences and international training mobilities.
The training focuses on EU institutions, policies and values; European citizenship and democratic participation; innovative and learner-centred teaching approaches.
BELONGtoEU e-Toolkit
Teaching EU studies in VET
One of the core results of the project is the BELONGtoEU e-Toolkit, an open-access digital resource designed specifically for VET teachers.
The Toolkit includes:
- modular teaching units on EU topics
- lesson plans and classroom activities
- multimedia materials and practical exercises
- guidelines for adapting EU studies to different VET sectors
