Building European Learning Opportunities and Networks for Growth in VET

Founded in 1958, APRO Formazione is a leading non-profit VET provider strongly rooted in its territory and deeply engaged at European level. It delivers education and training to more than 4,000 learners per year across a wide range of professional sectors and coordinates an extensive European network of over 50 partners in 30 countries.

In BELONGtoEU, APRO acts as project coordinator, building on its long-standing experience in EU projects and on the results of its previous Jean Monnet project Europeans of Tomorrow. APRO leads WP1 (Project Management & Quality Assurance) and WP4 (Dissemination, Sustainability and Exploitation), ensuring strong European outreach and long-term impact.

The University of Eastern Piedmont is a multidisciplinary public university with campuses in Alessandria, Novara and Vercelli, and strong expertise in European Union studies, law and political science. UPO has implemented several Jean Monnet projects and counts recognised EU scholars among its academic staff.

Within BELONGtoEU, UPO leads WP2, providing academic guidance, needs analysis and desk research. It designs and delivers training programmes for VET teachers, contributing high-quality content on EU institutions, policies and European integration.

Established in 1947, ASUC “Boro Petrushevski” is a secondary vocational school in Skopje, educating students in mechanical, electrical and traffic engineering in a multicultural and inclusive environment. The school maintains strong links with local enterprises and provides practice-oriented education.

BELONGtoEU is ASUC’s first European partnership project and represents an important capacity-building opportunity. ASUC acts as co-leader of WP1, supporting project management and quality assurance, while strengthening EU-related competences among teachers and students in a candidate country context.

Galway Technical Institute is one of Ireland’s leading Further Education colleges, serving over 1,200 learners annually through applied, work-oriented learning methodologies. GTI has extensive experience in European mobility and delivers a nationally certified European Studies module to all learners.

In BELONGtoEU, GTI leads WP3, dedicated to the piloting of EU teaching modules in VET classes. It also supports dissemination, sustainability and exploitation activities, sharing its long-standing expertise in EU education and applied learning.

Pärnumaa Vocational Education Centre is a highly regarded VET institution in Estonia, providing initial and adult vocational education to more than 1,300 students and 1,500 adult learners per year. PVEC has strong experience in international cooperation and holds the Erasmus+ VET Mobility Accreditation.

Within BELONGtoEU, PVEC supports WP3 and plays a key role in the co-teaching mobility activities, drawing on its expertise in international learning, teacher professional development and innovative teaching practices.

CEBANC is a private VET centre in the Basque Country, approved and supported by the regional government, delivering initial, in-service and adult vocational education to over 2,000 learners per year. It is a reference institution for innovation, project-based learning and international cooperation.

In BELONGtoEU, CEBANC acts as co-leader of WP2, supporting research, needs analysis and teacher training activities. It also contributes to the organisation of international training mobilities and the integration of innovative pedagogical approaches in EU education for VET.
